The foundation will fund general operating support, but has a special interest in helping organizations to develop their sustainability.
Measurable success
The foundation supports organizations that measure the effectiveness of their services.
Serving the SF Bay Area
The foundation supports 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving the residents of San Francisco Bay Area counties.
Outside of scope
In general, the foundation does not support annual appeals, religious entities, medical research, individuals, or endowments.

Our Approach
We commit to organizations over multiple years with unrestricted funding. We seek an annual check-in application.
We offer a simple, streamlined application and seek general reporting about their progress.
We are transparent and responsive, and solicit and act on feedback from grantees.
We do our homework through Pacific Foundation Services, before funding our grantees.
We seek ways to offer support beyond the check through collaboration, extending networks, and being responsive to specific needs.
